The United States gross national debt is currently more than $16 trillion and growing by more than $3 billion every day.  Last fiscal year alone (FY2012), the debt rose more than $1.3 trillion.

If you break that down, it is more than $51,679 for every single man, woman, and child in the United States.

We have created the national debt clock widget to the right for you to embed on your site, and simultaneously promote the Citizen's Petition to Fix the Debt.

1. Sign the Citizen's Petition in the widget.
2. Click "Get Widget" at the bottom of the widget to the right.
