The Fix the Debt Team on the Ground in Charlotte.

It’s a big week.

Our team is in Charlotte for the next few days for the Democratic National Convention and we need your help.

If you are in North Carolina, can you help us get the word out about Fix the Debt?

If you can help in person at the Conventions, simply text “CLT” to 877877 to start getting mobile updates for action.

Starting this afternoon, and going until Thursday night, we’ll be talking to people around the Convention about our Campaign to Fix the Debt, and we need you to help us reach them.

Tonight, we'll be at RiRa Irish Pub (208 N. Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC) for "Politics and Pints." We'll be there from 6 to 9 pm, signing people up for the campaign.

The best way to start is to get signed up for updates from us, so we'll be able to act quickly when needed.

Even if you can’t make it to Charlotte, there is a lot you can do to help us spread the word.  You can be a big help by simply forwarding on this email to people in the Charlotte area who you think would be interested in the campaign and getting involved.

And regardless of whether you can make the Convention or not, if you would like general text message updates on the campaign, text DEBT to 877877.  With all of us together we’ll make sure our leaders and the media hear our message loud and clear: It’s time to Fix the Debt!
